Aroview: Bold but failed attempt to emulate the arthouse cinema of European directors like Bergman, Tarkovsky and Antonioni in a New Zealand setting. Staged in an isolated volcanic landscape, where various characters are at odds, its best feature would have to be the lyrical score by Mike Nock.
