Wadd: The Life and Times of John C Holmes
Aroview: Well hung, generously portioned portrait of the American sex film industry's most famous and successful male 'porn star'.
Legendary for his prolific output and whopping endowment (a supposed 13"), the ample, if not too graphic, examples of John at his daily grind are more comical than erotic, while his off-camera dalliances see him mixed up in a murder trial. Like other stories that have emerged out of this particular fringe of society, it makes for an enticingly tabloid entertainment.
Interviewees include low-rent luminaries Larry Flynt, Al Goldstein, Ron Jeremy and director Paul Thomas Anderson, whose fictional film "Boogie Nights" was based on the Holmes character.
