Our Hospitality / Sherlock Jr.
Aroview: A pair of classic cinematic comedies from deadpan master Buster Keaton.
'Our Hospitality' - Keaton plays the youngest member of a Southern clan, who has the misfortune to fall in love with a the daughter of a family rival. Climaxes with a justly famous, if hair-raising, waterfall rescue.
'Sherlock Jr.' - As a cinema projectionist, Keaton daydreams his way into the film he is playing, becoming involved in a detective drama. One of the first and best of the many films set on a blurred line between 'reality and fantasy', this is enormously inventive and hilarious still.
