Toy Love
Aroview: Under-rated "bedroom comedy" from writer-director Harry Sinclair about the unruly love games played by a circle of flaky, impetuous 20-somethings.
With a cast that convincingly fall over each, physically and emotionally, Sinclair once again displays his knack for pithy humour and for bringing out the quirky-sweet side of morally compromised characters. Eased by a fresh retro-jazz score, this is overall a capricious treat that just might win over those that grinned all the way through "Topless Women Talk About Their Lives".
