Derrida
Aroview: A fittingly self-reflexive and experimental biography of iconoclastic French theorist Jacques Derrida.
Known for his playful and subversive strains of thinking, Derrida here maintains his enigmatic status, discussing Greek philosophy, clothing, sitcoms, even the nature of biography, while revealing little about himself. Throughout, the filmmakers maintains a rambling, even obtuse tone, never quite engaging critically with its subject. Even so, one suspects this was the perfect approach.
