Slacker
Aroview: A hugely original and influential film that virtually coined the phrase for young aimless academics of the 1990s. Essentially plotless, it is literally a chain of events - the camera follows a inter-changeable character through Austin, Texas from one hilarious slice-of-life to another. The supposed improvisation of the actors is in fact brilliantly scripted, ironically deriving a significant something out of its thematic nothingness.

5 stars (Exceptional) A uniquely-structured and seemingly plotless film, following a single day in the life of an ensemble of mostly twenty-something bohemians and misfits in Austin, Texas. Really kicked off the independent film movement of the 1990s. ~GenXGirl
