What I Have Written
Aroview: A darkly erotic drama, with an experimental and unforgiving mix of styles, this feature debut for documentary director Hughes divided audiences when initially released.
A man is hospitalised by a stroke and his wife discovers a his secret manuscript which seems to relate an autobiographical infidelity. Each character's perspective is conveyed in a different cinematic style in a bold attempt to convey a subjective, poetic cinema. Based on the novel by John A Scott.

4 stars (Very Good) Really enjoyed its twists and turns. I saw this with a friend whose verdict was "A typical F****** Melbourne movie". To which I responded, "What's the matter mate, not enough car chases for you?" ~s36e175
