Aroview: Another quirky yet significant doco from Werner Herzog, whose remarkable subject here is expatriot German Dieter Dengler, who returns to the Vietnam jungle to relive his experiences as a captured US Navy pilot who managed to escape from a hellish POW camp.

Inspired to fly after his village was destroyed by American warplanes in World War II, his is a story of romantic boyhood dreams turning to the horrific reality of combat.
