Aroview: Young Harry's troublesome education continues at Hogswarts School Of Witchcraft And Wizardry, in this increasingly confident series, here given a twist of gothic darkness by Mexican dir. Cuaron.
Adapted from possibly the most popular of JK Rowling's books, Harry (Radcliffe) must fend off the demons of the past in a defensive hunt for the recently escaped evildoer Sirius Black (Oldman), who was involved in the murders of Harry's parents. Atmospheric and fluid, this sheds the unwieldiness of the first films, though is still spectacularly magical with a greater emotional range and meaning.

4 stars (Very Good) It just keeps on getting better, in this third installment where Harry learns an escaped prisoner is coming for him. Much darker than the previous two, with even more creepy forces to contend with. A spellbinding ride that keeps you wanting more. ~GenXGirl
4 stars (Very Good) The editing makes it episodic - the scenes do not follow each other seamlessly. A whose who of British acting talent in support lead by the fabulous Alan Rickman. Impressive set designs. ~Tubbs
