Aroview: A fairly graceful remake of the 1996 Japanese hit comedy, with overworked city lawyer Gere finding release and solace in ballroom dancing lessons with trim and fit instructor Lopez.
It would be hard to go wrong with such an inately romantic, if chastely observed tale, and the cast do deliver on empathy without ever quite displaying the pizzazz and footwork of true believers. Both Sarandon and Tucci add a few sparks though.
