Aroview: Deft treasure yarn with Nic Cage in the 'Indiana Jones' role - an archaeologist in hot pursuit of a legendary war chest hidden by the Founding Fathers of America.

Cage's biggest initial hurdle is to somehow heist the Declaration of Independence, in which essential clues are encrypted, while also evading a squad of FBI sleuths who have likewise hit the treasure trail. Stacked with clever-dumb dialogue, a ridiculously arcane puzzle and requisite chases and other assorted action scenes, this is certainly an entertainer robust enough to please.

2 stars (Good Try) Nothing wrong with the plot idea but the film really didn't hold the attention for any length of time - maybe its because I'm not a Cage fan. ~Tubbs
