Aroview: A low-key but atmospheric mystery from the Australian New Wave of the 1970s, in which a well-meaning replacement teacher (Tate) arrives in a small coastal settlement, only to be unsettled by portentous events.

Intrigued by the unexplained disappearance of his predecessor, a student with a rare blood disease and other odd goings-on, his journey to knowledge is conveyed with a series of skillful but satisfying narrative deceptions.
