Nothing
Aroview: Two losers inhabiting a scungy existence in cramped Toronto discover that their unspoken wish that "the world would just go away" has come true.
Soon they set out into the spongy 'whiteness' that has materialised around their small domain, extending into the distance, a new universe of possibilities which comes with certain quirky 'rules'. The dir. of CUBE and CYPHER again posits an implacably abstract setting, but this time venturing a tone of absurdistic comedy, equal parts Terry Gilliam, Franz Kafka and Samuel Beckett, and mainly based around the interplay of two dysfunctional characters.
A rather bold experiment, but a surprisingly effective one, that while losing some momentum towards the end, will tickle the fancy of existentialists with a sense of humour.
