Aroview: Eagerly awaited redux of the GODZILLA brand by Toho Studios has its faults, but is surprisingly smart and effective overall.

Like most GODZILLAs, this effectively ignores all other sequels and carries on from the 1954 opener. All has been quiet on the monster front for many years, until a reporter uncovers the awakening of not 1, but 3 monsters, simultaneously! Contains some brutal action and a good standard of f/x, although the scripting is customarily illogical.
