Aroview: A puffy-eyed Ribisi plays a Hollywood actor who is unsettled, then repelled by the onerous trappings of fame, and retreats into a dangerous obsession with a strange girl (Ricci) he has photographed.

Developed with a subtle psychological layering, this literally depicts Ribisi's subtle, and finally full-blown, delusions, in a clever patchwork of camera-work and editing courtesy of dir. Goldberg (better known as a character actor). Perhaps ultimately over-ambitious, this still contains enough twists and lurches towards psychosis to stay compelling through to the finale. Also features Elvis Costello in a small role.
