Aroview: A sweaty reflection on lust and responsibility from actor Sergio Castellitto (MOSTLY MARTHA) in his second directorial outing, here playing a conflicted Italian doctor who is sent into a regretful state of mind while waiting at the bedside of his daughter, comatose after a car accident.

Flashing back to his compulsive affair with a slatternly homeless woman (Cruz), this broaches difficult and breathlessly sinful territory. Managing to impress through its felt melodrama, this also features several brave performances, especially Cruz, who rivals MONSTER's Charlize Theron for her unflattering portrayal.
