BanditsBandits (2001)
3 stars (Good Enough) It needed to be 20 mins. shorter – it either couldn't find an ending or didn't want to end. The early scenes were strong but it got disjointed and repetitive toward the end. A shame.
East West EastEast West East (2009)
2 stars (Good Try) The story dips in interest during the team's return journey.
Hotel SplendideHotel Splendide (1999)
3 stars (Good Enough) The first half is stronger than the second but the quality of the quality of the casting and the interesting set designs gets you through.
Man From Elysian Fields, TheMan From Elysian Fields, The (2001)
3 stars (Good Enough) If there was a lead performer with a bit more life this would have helped the screenplay. However, there is talent in the three female performers led by Olivia Williams, and Jagger and Coburn could never be boring.
West Side StoryWest Side Story (1961)Aro Favourite
4 stars (Very Good) The story is a bit simplistic but the dancing is great and does justice to the set designs.

Came a Hot FridayCame a Hot Friday (1985)Recommended

Dead Snow 2: Red vs. DeadDead Snow 2: Red vs. Dead (2014)
3 stars (Good Enough) The mayhem is unrelenting.
DVD $24.95 | Blu-Ray $29.95
Mr. In-BetweenMr. In-Between (The Killing Kind) (2001)
2 stars (Good Try) The British do hard edged violence very well but there was little freshness in the screenplay. David Calder as usual was very good.
Mists of Avalon, TheMists of Avalon, The (2001)
2 stars (Good Try) Anjelica had the strongest presence by far. She should have stood for President.
