Aliens (1986): You need to wait until the later scenes for the screenplay to get going. Until then, it is all preamble to the main bout, Ripley v Aliens.
Vampire Girl vs Frankenstein Girl (2009): The descriptive word "mayhem" comes to mind.
No Time to Die (2021): Great stunt, special effects, and editing equate to some good action sequences, but overall, the running time is the killer.
Last Train from Gun Hill (1959): Not your typical western screenplay and it is all the better for it.; Blu-Ray $34.95
Vera Cruz (1954): 70 years on, watchable but worn.
Death Wish 4 (Death Wish 4: The Crackdown) (1987): Knowing that our hero appears in a sequel to this sequel removes any chance of nervousness about his welfare in this one.
Sea Inside, The (Mar Adentro) (2004): Good Oscar fodder, but the screenplay is not that interesting.
Kolya (1996): Set in an interesting time and place, the screenplay is bearably soppy, and the central performance of Zden?k Sv?rák is a big plus.; DVD ~~$25~~ $18.75
Tin Star, The (1957): The writing is a little different to the western norm, and a cast of Brand, Fonda, Perkins, and Van Cleef better than the western average.
Thomas and the Magic Railroad (2000): The rail action side of the screenplay was very well done.
