Extraordinary, The (The Specials, Hors normes) (2019): It weakens a bit toward the end but for the most part, it avoids the usual melodramatic pitfalls.; DVD $29.95
Muppets Most Wanted (2014): A passable plotline is helped by some bouncy musical numbers and the main muppet characters doing their thing.
Brave (2012): Needless to say, the animation is excellent and even though this is Pixar not at its best the two lead characters of father and daughter are interesting enough to carry the film.
Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1 (2011): It plays like a soap.
Diva (1982): Whatever faults there are in the screenplay it is never boring – snappy editing and interesting camera angles help in this regard.
Children of a Lesser God (1986): Starts off really well but it doesn't deliver much more than a love story when all said and done.
Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn (2011): I think there was a charm in the animation in the original French/Canadian series that is missing here but it is entertaining enough and well produced.
Sleepless (2017): Sleepless and it showed.
Despicable Me (2010): Go the Minions.
Aqua Teen Hunger Force - The Movie (Colon Movie Film For Theatres) (2007): It is bizarre and that is its strength.
