Child's Play (2019)
It was okay but the original 1988 version is impressive.
Ophelia (2018)
I didn't get too enthused over the screenplay but the production values were spot on.
Zazie Dans Le Metro (Zazie in the Underground) (1960)
I think they would have enjoyed making this one.
Halloween (2018)
As these type of horror movies go it is good but I'm just Halloweened out (and Freddy Krueger'd out etc.).
Glory (1989)
It is well made and the battle scenes are extremely well done. Denzel Washington and Morgan Freeman are an attraction in themselves.
Another 48 Hours (1990)
A long time has passed since the original was released and this may have taken the edge of this sequel.
Assignment, The (1998)
A good cast but the material is familiar.
Simon and Garfunkel - The Concert in Central Park (1981)
The songs are quality and their rendition so easy on the ear.
3 Idiots (2009)
This marathon is easy on the eye – especially some of the location shooting, and there are some delightful light comedy segments, but two hours would have sufficed for me.
Filth (2013)
James McAvoy succeeds with an over the top performance and Jim Broadbent heads a very strong supporting cast. The screenplay is energetic and is never boring.
