Child's Play (2019): It was okay but the original 1988 version is impressive.
Ophelia (2018): I didn't get too enthused over the screenplay but the production values were spot on.; DVD $29.95
Zazie Dans Le Metro (Zazie in the Underground) (1960): I think they would have enjoyed making this one.
Halloween (2018): As these type of horror movies go it is good but I'm just Halloweened out (and Freddy Krueger'd out etc.).
Glory (1989): It is well made and the battle scenes are extremely well done. Denzel Washington and Morgan Freeman are an attraction in themselves.
Another 48 Hours (1990): A long time has passed since the original was released and this may have taken the edge of this sequel.
Assignment, The (1998): A good cast but the material is familiar.
Simon and Garfunkel - The Concert in Central Park (1981): The songs are quality and their rendition so easy on the ear.
3 Idiots (2009): This marathon is easy on the eye – especially some of the location shooting, and there are some delightful light comedy segments, but two hours would have sufficed for me.
Filth (2013): James McAvoy succeeds with an over the top performance and Jim Broadbent heads a very strong supporting cast. The screenplay is energetic and is never boring.
