Planes (2013)
The animation is not in Pixar's class but it is worthwhile.
Amour en fuite, L' (Love on the Run) (1979)
If he had have been a human being (that rhymes – I'm a poet) the character would have been a waste of space but somehow throughout his adventures, he has been a romantic attraction.
Secret Life of Pets 2, The (2019)
It is not too bad for a follow–up.
Babysitters' Club (1996)
It is cute without being over cute and the kids aren't too screechy.
Sometimes Always Never (2018)
This was the perfect part for Bill Nighy and the scrabble scene with Jenny Agutter and the terrific Tim McInnerny was the highlight of an interesting screenplay.
A Fantastic Woman (Una mujer fantástica) (2017)
It is one terrific lead performance.
Igor (2008)
The characters have great shapes.
Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween (2018)
It is saved by the special effects.
Hobson's Choice (1953)
Any film featuring Laughton & Mills & directed by one of cinema's greats is a must. The supporting cast also does justice to the quality screenplay but the other outstanding feature is the photography which captures working class Salford superbly.
Hombre (1966)
The above average casting, with Richard Boone a stand out, does justice to the well written screenplay. The camera work is a big plus.
