Another Woman (1988): Although not very cinematic, and heavy on dialogue, the great Gena Rowlands heads a fine cast, which offers some respite.
With Six You Get Egg Roll (1968): It is not quite as bad as it looks – the plot idea and the first half of the screenplay are okay.
Another World (2021): Two fine performances, with the editing keeping the three subplots running seamlessly. So easy to stuff this type of drama up and succumb to melodrama – avoided.; DVD $29.95
Eames: The Architect and the Painter (2011): The use of library film is its strength.
Support Your Local Sheriff (1969): It is one of those films where just about everything works.
Love / Hate (TV Series) (2010-2014): S1: The criminals might be small bananas, but the screenplay includes most of the ingredients of larger operations.
Winslow Boy, The (1999): The writing is strong as is the casting and the period details.
Foxfire (2012): After a good start, it goes on far too long and burns itself out.
Crooked Earth (2001): It might appeal to action fans.
Blue Hawaii (1961): Forgettable.
