Son of the Pink Panther (1993): The screenplay isn't too strong, but the visual comedy of Benigni is good at times.
Brief Encounter (1974): Ever since watching this, when on a rail platform, I do keep an eye out for Sophia.
Young Dracula (TV Series) (2006): Great family entertainment.
Footnote (2011): It has a strong bittersweet screenplay and one that knows how to conclude.
Irishman, The (2019): Well produced, but these kinds of characters have had quite a bit of screen time in recent years and are not that interesting anymore.
Sweet Charity (1968): Although the screenplay spirals out of control, the musical segments are worth waiting for, and there is always the never boring Shirley Mac to anchor proceedings.
Gigi (1958): The screenplay gets soppy at times, and there is an over reliance on the main tune, but the wardrobe people do a great job.
Upside, The (2018): An unnecessary remake.
Rocket Post, The (2004): A decent bittersweet screenplay, assisted by some good character performances and a gorgeous shooting location.
Trouble Every Day (2001): Only mildly interesting but never boring with Vincent G lurking around.
