Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer (1987): I'm a 40 year veteran of horror films, but even I found the videotape scene hard to watch. Great performances by the cast though.
Hotel Rwanda (2004): A deeply humbling and powerful film. Tragic and moving, with outstanding performances.
Maniac Cop (1988): Not even a good bad movie. Bruce Campbell couldn't save it. What a turkey.
Zombie Flesh Eaters (1979): Another Fulci classic, with some terrible acting and some iconic horror cinema scenes – THAT eye scene.
Elvira (Elvira, Mistress of the Dark) (1988): I loved this film when I was younger, but the jokes haven't aged well at all. Cassandra Peterson does her best.

Howling II, The (Your Sister Is A Werewolf) (1985): Not a great film by any standard (Christopher Lee later disowned it), I absolutely love this movie. Such a guilty pleasure.
300 (2006): I strongly suspect that your enjoyment of the film will very much hinge on whether you've read the graphic novel on which it's based. A true re–telling.
