Embrace (2016)
Its good to highlight the dangers of the mental health issues which it does if you can tolerate the "my body" bits and the navel–gazing.
Scary Movie (2000)
There is some reasonable comedy but its dragged down by an equal number of grubby segments – it seems confused as to which is its target audience.
Rumble in the Bronx (1996)
There are Jackie Chan's stunts but little else.
Classic Artists: Jethro Tull (2006)
Warts and all interviews which divulge details of their fallings out and mini breakups.
Air I Breathe, The (2007)
Starts off well but gradually loses it by being maybe over ambitious. The flashy camera work doesn't help.
A Flickering Truth (2015)
Is the project to restore these films worth it? Check out the faces of the audiences watching the Archive's travelling film show. Be beware of the philistines among us in our own society who throw things out and destroy history.
Nativity (2009)
There is a very good adult cast centred around Martin Freeman but he lets the young performers have centre stage.
Kiss Before Dying, A (1956)
The screenplay is unconvincing but there is a couple of moments of genuine suspense (50's style). Hunter looks ridiculous in glasses with a pipe so there is some comedy. The photography and the colour selection is very easy on the eye.
David Byrne: Ride, Rise, Roar (2010)
A little bit of a difference to most other concert performances.
Tsotsi (2005)
