Big Game (2014)
Once I realised the director was also the one responsible for "Rare Exports – a Christmas Tale" this unbelievable screenplay started to make "sense". Enjoy.
Bad Neighbours 2 (Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising) (2016)
I'm tempted to say that it is a good example of the standard of comedy written today.
Money Monster (2016)
It all got a bit silly and a shame that an acting talent like Dominic West was wasted.
Gorgon, The (1964)
A bit stodgy in its telling but there is always interest in the basic premise and in the master horror actors Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee.
Carer, The (2016)
The dramatic foul language grates after a short while but other than that its well done.
Witch, The (2015)
Its more suspense than horror and its low key, its used sparingly and therefore is more effective.
View from the Top (2003)
Pleasant enough but the only real stand out are the Mike Myers segments.
Battle of the Bulge (1965)
The best thing about it is that it gives equal screen time to both sides so its not really a propaganda exercise but it does cause its length to blow out.
RED (R.E.D.) (2010)
I bet the cast enjoyed making it – it had that "end of the working year" feel to it when your are winding down – even the violence although enacted with gusto seemed slightly apologetic. For those who watch it though its no more than light entertainment
Redbelt (2008)
Not sure it knew which type of film it wanted to be – a mixture of a cast from those who have proven acting talent to those who are the real thing in martial arts – screenplay is not original but its intentions to portray MMA in a good light are sincere.
