Heavenly Creatures (1994)
Only "Lovely Bones" can compete with this as the Director's best movie. The period is extremely well portrayed and the performances are very good with Kate Winslet an inspired casting.
Red Badge of Courage, The (1951)
Basically anti–war by emphasising the human element as well as successfully portraying the battle scenes. Enjoyed the small talk between the soldiers before and after a battle.
Web of Death, The ( Wu du tian luo) (1976)
Offers more than the normal Shaw Bros. outing. A good story and interesting special effects.
Legends of Oz: Dorothy's Return (2013)
Very easy on the eye to watch and it should bring back happy memories for those familiar with the story.
Walk of Shame (2014)
Very light plot and material – the challenge for the viewer is to maintain attention.
Big Hero 6 (2014)
Not too bad a story & the characters are very good.
Desert (2010)
Not an easy watch but then its not an easy topic to portray without being melodramatic – which it is not.
Kings of Summer, The (Toy's House) (2013)
Its one of those films that's easy to dismiss for a start but it grows on you – some easy on the eye photography and a very good and appropriate soundtrack.
Dead Pool, The (1988)
Routine actioner but Liam Neeson and Patricia Clarkson are a strong supporting cast and make it watchable.
Herbie Goes Bananas (1980)
The silliest and not the strongest of this very good series but Harvey Korman is entertaining.
