A Christmas Carol (2009): Must be the most filmed story of all but the animation style gives it a fresh look.
Hannah Montana / Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour (2008): Whilst the tunes aren't the best she certainly displays a lot of energy.
Serena (2014): Good production values – with the props and costumes representing the period very well – the photography is easy on the eye but it was all insufficient to maintain the attention.
I Melt With You (2011): The depiction of the characters as arseholes with a script to suit was well done.
Right Stuff, The (1983): If you make a 3 hour film you can't afford to have too much padding in the material or too many uninteresting character portrayals. Quaid with his Nicholson type smirk was just irritating.; DVD ~~$20~~ $15
Sicilia! (1998): Some beautiful peaceful interludes between the human conversation pieces.
Une Visite au Louvre (2004): The narration was too academic to be understandable by the fish and chip brigade.
Get On Up (2014): To its credit it gives a largely unflattering look at his off stage adult life. The musical extracts/segments are well done but the film doesn't need to be over 2 hrs – it lets itself down by not showing some restraint.
Ugly Truth, The (2009): Not a great deal to recommend about it.
Kid, The (2000): I don't know whose worse Willis or the kid. Lily Tomlin is fine.
