Moby Dick (1956): The production is very good but it needs some good supporting performances to steady the ship.
Paulie (1998): It is well done and is good family entertainment.
Dog Soldiers (2002): A bit limited in scope but the screenplay has the odd bite now and again.
Alien (1979): It has genuine suspense.
City Under Siege (2010): A bit of this a bit of that – a scattergun approach to find an audience.
When Borat Came to Town (2008): It was much better than the Borat film.
Cruel Sea, The (1952): Good attention to the nuts and bolts of fighting a war at close quarters.
Laura (1944): The screenplay is a bit dated and the droning of Dana Andrews doesn't help. Memorable theme song.
Around the World in 80 Days (1956): Well done to the Casting Director. A quality production that should be worth seeing for generations to come.
Robot Dreams (2023): Should be a winner with families in particular. The soundtrack is well chosen, and well used.; DVD $29.95
