Upside, TheUpside, The (2018)
2 stars (Good Try) An unnecessary remake.
Rocket Post, TheRocket Post, The (2004)
3 stars (Good Enough) A decent bittersweet screenplay, assisted by some good character performances and a gorgeous shooting location.
Trouble Every DayTrouble Every Day (2001)
2 stars (Good Try) Only mildly interesting but never boring with Vincent G lurking around.
Judgement at NurembergJudgement at Nuremberg (1961)
3 stars (Good Enough) Courtroom dramas tend to take longer, but this needs a bit of extra patience to cope with some speeches as well. Other than reasoning out the casting decisions, there is no suspense or intrigue, so the marathon screenplay can be viewed over several days.
Saigon - Year of the CatSaigon - Year of the Cat (1983)
3 stars (Good Enough) Considering the importance of the time and place, we didn't need the romantic segments of the plot. The political aspects were handled quite well, however.
Day ZeroDay Zero (2007)
3 stars (Good Enough) Although one of the three leads, Wood looked lost and out of his depth, the plot idea is very good. Bernthal's performance is the highlight, but an attractive female cast do not have a great deal to do. Worth a look.
ShinerShiner (2001)
2 stars (Good Try) The casting is very good, but after a good first half, the later scenes are disappointing.
Galapagos - The Islands That Changed The World (TV Series) Galapagos - The Islands That Changed The World (TV Series) (2007)
4 stars (Very Good) Educational. Superbly photographed and narrated.
Peter Kay - Live at the Bolton Albert Peter Kay - Live at the Bolton Albert (2003)
3 stars (Good Enough) A good seamless delivery.
Peter Kay - Live at the Top of the TowerPeter Kay - Live at the Top of the Tower (2004)
2 stars (Good Try) My introduction to Peter Kay.
