Divergent (2014): The early segments were good but it faded into familiarity. A shorter film would have helped. Kate Winslet for once seemed uncomfortable with her role.
As I Lay Dying (2013): Not an easy watch – the dialect is hard to follow at times.
Prophecy, The (1996): Still don't know whether Walken was a good angel or bad angel but it doesn't matter – amongst a great cast only Amanda Plummer can get close to him.
Boyz N the Hood (1991): Influential and superior for its film type. Anti–gun.
Precious (Based on the Novel 'Push' by Sapphire) (2009): Great screenplay in handling a difficult subject. The location shooting is well used. Perfect female ensemble casting. The interaction between mother and daughter is well worth the admission alone. No need for males in this one.
Trial and Error (1997): Far fetched plot but it doesn't really matter too much – enjoyable.
Kill Your Darlings (2013): The props/clothes etc.were fine but the characters as portrayed weren't that interesting.
Trip to Italy, The (2014): We could have done without the natter and so enjoy the scenery that the great unwashed is normally not privileged to see.; DVD $29.95 | Blu-Ray ~~$34.95~~ $12.50
Sunlight Jr. (2013): The acting is fine but the story doesn't really hold the attention.; DVD $29.95
Autumn in New York (2000): Not much to comment on really.
