Inception (2010)
Impressive visual effects. I thought there were too many main characters – a lesser number would have helped the flow of the film and we could have concentrated more on the excellent plot.
Salmonberries (1992)
Takes its time. Gorgeous location shooting with an enticing sound track.
Devil and Max Devlin, The (1981)
Reasonably entertaining – watchable.
Lady, The (2011)
One strong lady. Its a bit long but she's worth it.
Count Arthur Strong (TV series) (2014)
Weak script and the Delaney character doesn't work.
Mrs. Miniver (1942)
The first half is very good and the early scenes have stood the test of time. Garson and Pidgeon are fine as a couple but Ney is a joke doing a Stewart impression. The ending is all hollywood and is crap.
Braveheart (1995)
Some fine actors in small parts but McGoohan stands head and shoulders above the rest backhanding lesser mortals in the chops and using the Irish as canon fodder to save money on arrows. The other highlights are the locations.
Sex Tape (2014)
Even for a RomCom this is pretty bad – juvenile at best.
Knights of Badassdom (2013)
Doesn't succeed as a comedy but there are worse ones around.
Black Beauty (1971)
Uneven but watchable – the early scenes with Patrick Mower are the best.
