Things We Lost in the Fire (2008): For the most part avoids the traps. Great casting young and old. Del Toro a standout.
We're No Angels (1989): Great cast of Ray McAnally, Wallace Shawn and De Niro (handling a lighter role well). Penn not too bad in this one. Production values excellent but the plot weakens the longer the film goes on.
Twixt (2011): Some atmospheric moments. Bruce Dern scene steals.
Miss Potter (2006): Don't know what accent Zellweger was employing – her enunciation was poor. Some good location shooting.
Amazing Spider-Man 2, The (Rise of Electro) (2014): Not too bad if you still have an appetite for more super hero movies.
P.S. I Love You (2007): Good female cast led by the great Hilary Swank but its far too long and gets soppy.
Mask, The (1994): A watchable Carrey film thanks to the visuals but above all the mask.
Love is All You Need (2012): Made for the commercial market/american audiences.; DVD ~~$29.95~~ $19.95
Crazies, The (2010): Doesn't add value to what already exists.
Searchers, The (1956): The acting is pretty ordinary but what will make the film survive are the locations and the photography.
