Inheritance (2019): I thought the screenplay was a mess but then again as I couldn't follow it I might be wrong.; DVD $29.95
Buoyancy (2019): Hard hitting and believable. The scenes on the fishing boat were very suspenseful thanks to the skipper who kept throwing his crew on a one way trip overboard.
Spirit - Stallion of the Cimarron (2002): A beautifully told story using traditional animation.
Sudden Death (1996): Not just another dumb actioner – this one includes an ice hockey game and hence an intelligent play on words with the title.
Money Train (1995): It follows the buddy formula but not as well as elsewhere.
A Civilised Society (2007): An extremely well produced documentary proof of which is that it is still involving as a watch in the 2020s even though the events happened decades ago.
Catfish (2010): From a sociological aspect, the documentary has little value. If you are prepared to see this one through there is some satisfaction in seeing the irritating characters get led around the mulberry bush.
Another Mother's Son (2017): It is above average for its type. The screenplay and characters are low key and the period production details look to be right but the clincher is the excellent performance of Jenny Seagrove.
Killers (2014): The only thing on offer is violence and with women included among the victims.
Nutcracker, The (2010): Largely forgettable but there is some appeal in the casting.
