Great Expectations (2013): Maybe not the best version but it is Dickens and there is HBC and others and the British do tend to get the period details right.
Valmont (1989): There is nothing wrong with the casting, in fact, there is quality in the supporting roles looking for something to do – the issue is with the lead characters all of whom lack substance and they become tiresome long before the screenplay runs its course.
Strawberry and Chocolate (Fresa y Chocolate) (1994): Well written with some light touches in the right places. The performances are fine in particular that of Jorge Perugorría.
Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous (2005): A tad long for the material – the first hour is the best and then it runs out of a bit of steam – but you will see a lot worse.
Shaun the Sheep Movie (2015): Another Aardman delight.
Rodan (1956): I'd be upset if someone dropped a bomb and woke me up. Go Rodan!
Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah / Godzilla vs. Mothra (1991-1992): The Monster segments are worth the watch.
Dogs Don't Wear Pants (Koirat eivät käytä housuja) (2019): I found the daughter character more interesting than that of the father and wish hers could have had more screentime.
Just Ask for Diamond (1988): Hard to dislike particularly with a strong cast of British character actors in support.
Steel Magnolias (1989): The excellent female ensemble cast keeps some interest maintained but if the screenplay had have found an earlier finish that would have helped.
