Last Showgirl, The (2025): The early scenes, in particular, are very good and are believable. The screenplay is reasonably fresh and is given good service by a couple of veteran performers.; DVD $29.95 | Blu-Ray $34.95
Murder on a Sunday Morning (2000): A competently made blow by blow documentary.
Savage Messiah (2002): Another cult leader – when will we ever learn(?)
Strings (2004): Artistically impressive.
Stay Hungry (1976): Good in parts. The supporting cast are a plus.
Before Sunrise (1995): Nothing happens.
Backyard, The (2002): Had more impact when first released as against 20+ years later.
Infernal Affairs 2 (Mou gaan dou II) (2003): Competent enough, but nothing new here
1864 (TV Series) (2014): The combat scenes are done best. The rest is a bit too long except for the title.
Hospital, The (1971): Satirical and still relevant 50 years on.
