Les Miserables (1998): Unspectacular but solid with the two main protagonists in the capable hands of Rush and Neeson.
King of Staten Island, The (2020): It is heavy on dialogue but it is well written and has the cast to deliver. Marisa Tomei is the icing on the cake.
Sweet Smell of Success (1957): The well written and compact screenplay was filmed correctly in black and white to make the most of the streets of New York and its nightlife.
Boyfriends and Girlfriends (My Girlfriend's Boyfriend) (1987): Typically with this Director, the characters have only one interest in life.
Les Miserables - 25th Anniversary Concert (2010): Whilst not one of the tuniest of musicals this concert makes up for it in other ways.
House of Cardin (2019): Another fashion designer. The documentary follows a similar track as the others with a similar bunch of interviewees with similar laudatory comments.
Scoob! (2020): Scooby–Doo has done better but this is still enjoyable.
Diego Maradona (2019): Cocaine 1 Maradona 0.
Capone (2020): The screenplay isn't easy to watch and may not prove popular but what is on display is another excellent performance from Hardy. His makeup team also deserves commendation.
El Topo (1971): The screenplay is not conventional but original and even bizarre in places. In a nutshell, it is never boring. Visually – if you can see past the bodies and the blood – it is stunning at times.
