Aroview: A heartfelt documentary about the life and murder of prominent creole journalist Jean Dominique, who for many years ran a dissident radio station in the troubled Carribean nation of Haiti.

Dir. Demme had made several previous films about Haiti, and in this effort he lucidly stitches together a portrait of personal action and political optimism, sadly overshadowed by the negative effect of corruption, violence and external events, such as the USA's numerous ill-fated attempts to intervene in the country's affairs.
