The second entry in a series of six "Female Convict Scorpion" films, this is not only reputed as the best of them, but its also possibly the best women-in-prison picture ever made.

4 stars (Very Good) Redeemable trash, anchored by an intense and iconic almost silent lead performance by Meiko Kaji. Great filmmaking from a period in Japanese film history where even the best were often reduced to making sordid exploitation movies. ~Pearce
