My Date with Drew

Aroview: Taking the showbiz reality genre to its logical nadir, 'regular Joe' and amateur film-maker Brian Herzlinger documents his quest to, er, get a date with his life-long idol, Drew Barrymore.

Like reading a diary of a goofy, deluded lonely heart, Herzlinger shows no shame in hanging out his personal laundry in the name of self-promotion, and though it's cringeworthy for much of its running time, it has the kind of fairy-tale ending that (kind of) justifies the whole enterprise.
