Man, The

Aroview: Manic-aggressive comedy concerning a foul-mouthed Detroit policeman (Jackson) who ends up conscripting an innocent salesman (Levy) to his personal quest to locate his former partner's killers, a gang of international gun-runners.

Repeatedly playing on its black-white buddy riff, this is packed with race baiting and fart jokes, while the plot meanders onwards to a fairly bloody showdown. Best viewed for the genuine oil-and-vinegar chemistry of the two leads.
