Aroview: Genuine wit is visited upon this comedy-drama built around the unlikely character alliance of successful bank-robbers Bruce Willis and Billy Bob Thornton with a screw-loose Cate Blanchett.

Dir. Levinson displays his gift for eccentric humour, especially with Thornton’s character (a hypochondriac who’s allergic to antique furniture), but never quite knits the whimsy, pathos and suspense into the a finally perfect fit.
