Aroview: Eddie Murphy excels in his film debut as a street-smart ex-con who teams up with veteran cop Nick Nolte to track down some bad eggs. Near perfect action-comedy.

4 stars (Very Good) Nick Nolte is dead-serious cop, while Murphy is wise-cracking ex-con, making their on-screen connection an unlikely but very funny one. This may look like an 80s flick, but is an excellent action comedy with elements still seen in buddy-cop films today. ~Tom H
3 stars (Good Enough) "Time Out" perfectly describe Nolte's character as shambling (he has a car to match) - his is also the perfect opposite to Murphy's character so as to create the sparks that drive the film. Again Frisco's streets provide the perfect setting. ~Tubbs
4 stars (Very Good) classic ~Wyatt Earp
