Swamp Water

Aroview: An interesting melodrama, dank with the regional atmosphere of the Florida Everglades, about the problems undergone by a youthful fur trapper (Andrews) who teams up with an escaped convict (Brennan). Dir. Renoir's first American film suffers a little from its langorous pace, but it has mosquitos, mud and crazed hillbillies aplenty.
