I Will Walk Like A Crazy Horse
Aroview: With VIVA LA MUERTE, this represents the peak of the cinematic surrealism of dir. Arrabal, threading another quasi-medieval fable with liberal doses of weird, profane and disturbing imagery.
Shannon plays a simple soul, who after the death of his domineering mother, escapes society by trekking into a barren desert where he falls in love with a supernatural hermit. However, while he gains priceless wisdom, which he tries to integrate into his life upon returning to the city (with the hermit and goat in tow), the police are not far behind to burst his existential bubble... A strange, provocative, and sometimes baffling work.
