Czech Dream
Aroview: A document of two young filmmaker's satirical stunt to promote a gigantic supermarket (hypermarket) to be supposedly constructed on the outskirts of Prague, but which acts as an ambush with which to expose the greed and gullibility of the Czech populace.
Initially hazy about their intentions, the directors are seen orchestrating advertising companies, marketeers and sponsors, into a grandiloquent campaign which lures 4000 people to an empty meadow for 'opening day' to fulfill their "Czech Dream". One of the most amusing of recent films to expose the psychology of modern capitalism, this also identifies some of the chilling means by which advertisers grab our attention.
