Aroview: Competent local drama set in a small country town, where quiet lifestyle and gentle intrigues are disrupted by the arrival of an enigmatic young woman (Trokenheim), who proceeds to seduce her way around the male inhabitants.

Shot on a low-budget on Hawkes Bay, this boasts some committed performances - Wiseman is especially good as a sexually-repressed woman who takes pity on the stranger - but dir. Giraud's attempts at suspense mostly tip into melodrama and unbelievability.
