Aroview: Wacky but earnest live-action update of the classic 1950s anime GIGANTOR, replotted to depict the struggle between a ferocious robot 'Black Ox' which is destroying post-WW2 Tokyo, and another giant robot, 'Tetsujin 28', developed as a secret military prototype many years before. Centred around a rather lonely young boy who finds he is the only one who can control 'Tetsujin 28' (because his father engineered it), this is family-friendly enough, if a little repetitive.
