Moguls, The

Aroview: Attempting a feel-good spin the subject of 'amateur porn', this saggy comedy has a ruffled and incompetent small-town denizen (Jeff Bridges) pursue a scheme to make it rich in the porn industry with the help of his various loser buddies (Nelson, Danson, Pantoliano).

While the premise has a certain farcical promise, the results are decidedly limp and conclude with the gooiest of sentimental endings. Only Ted Danson, as a closeted gay man, trying hard to be 'one of the boys', manages to rouse any comic recognition.
