4 stars (Very Good) Beneath the elegant surface are the deviously twisted characters - the Marquise de Merteuil and the Vicomte de Valmont - a pair of schemers who take pleasure in coolly manipulating and seducing those around them. Delightful, whimsy & devilishly evil. ~GenXGirl
