Aroview: Slow-pulsed Hollywood remake of Kiyoshi Kurosawa's excellent J-horror KAIRO, fitfully reproduces the concept of spectres using the viral connections of the internet to 'leak' back into the real world. Kristen Bell ('Veronica Mars') provides a little spunkiness and distraction, but debuting dir. Sonzero sadly lacks the skills to generate the necessary apocalyptic dread which the story demands.
