Aroview: Ashton Kutcher and Kevin Costner get wet as trainee coast guard and salty swim legend respectively in this broad-chested adventure about an elite ocean rescue team and the lethal waters they come up against to rescue those at the mercy of the sea.

Saturated with rookie-mentor cliches and boot-camp style training sequences, this is nevertheless a thrilling treatment of bravery and intimate heroism against the forces of mother nature, with the crushing awe of the ocean spectacularly realised in all its volatile, tidal glory. Saving lives, however, has never been so cheesy.
